City’s Crews Scheduled to Work Tues., Feb. 19 – Fri., Feb. 22
City crews are scheduled to plow and treat streets in 12-hour rotating shifts from Tues., Feb. 19, through Fri., Feb. 22, as another round of snow and freezing drizzle moves through the area. Streets are expected to become slick after snow begins Tuesday as pavement temperatures fall below freezing, and they will remain slick through the Wednesday morning commute. Use caution if traveling during this timeframe.
Based on the current forecast, the City will be operating at a Level 3 response which means it may take crews up to 32.5 hours after accumulating snow/freezing drizzle ends for crews to plow and treat the more than 1,000 lane miles in the city. Snow may continue to be packed to streets even after they have been plowed and treated.
The City will continue to monitor the weather forecast and update its response accordingly.
