City's Crews Preparing for Snow Nov. 11-12
City crews are preparing for snow tonight, Sunday, Nov. 11, and overnight into Monday, Nov. 12. Crews are scheduled to treat roadways overnight and into the morning as pavement temperatures fall below freezing. The Monday morning commute may be slick, and residents should use caution at intersections and on elevated services such as bridges and overpasses.
A second round of snow is expected on Monday, Nov. 12, and crews are scheduled to plow and treat roadways if necessary. Residents can help the snow and ice control process by removing vehicles, trashcans and basketball goals from streets. The City will continue to monitor the forecast and update its response accordingly.
