Community Discussion on School Safety

Community Conversations on School Safety Event.

Lee’s Summit, MO –  The Lee’s Summit Police Department and the Lee’s Summit R-7 School District are partnering to host a community event on Wednesday, April 25th from 6:30-8:00p.m.

The event, A Community Conversation on School Safety will give residents a chance to hear from Police and school district officials on current safety measures that are in place and also assist in developing and implementing a community wide approach to keep kids safe in the school environment.  The event will be held in the LS City Council Chambers located at 220 SE Green Street, Lee’s Summit, MO.  We are also working with technology staff to record and possibly live stream the event via Facebook so that online attendees can join in this important conversation.
