The City of Lee’s Summit is accepting applications from eligible voters in District 4 who are interested in serving on the City Council. Applications for the vacant seat are due by 5 p.m. on Jan. 29.
The appointment fills the vacancy in District 4 created by Fred DeMoro's resignation. The selected candidate will serve as a member of the City Council until the next municipal election in April 2026.
District 4 residents interested in applying must file in person at the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall, 220 SE Green St. To be eligible, applicants must be at least 18 years of age, reside, and be a registered voter in District 4.
