City of Lee’s Summit to Host RecycleFEST April 13

The City of Lee’s Summit will host a RecycleFEST April 13 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at City Hall, 220 SE Green St. This free event allows residents to recycle items, such as bicycles, athletic shoes, and cell phones, which are not typically collected through curbside recycling and would otherwise end up in a landfill. The exhibit showcases a dynamic range of 2D and 3D artwork including glass sculptures, fine art jewelry, photography, metalsmithing and woodworking as well as oil and acrylic paintings.
