Lee's Summit Police Identify Woman Killed in Overnight Fire

 

Lee’s Summit, Mo – Detectives with the Lee’s Summit Police Department have completed the initial investigation into the deadly house fire in the 1500 block of SW 6th Street overnight.  With assistance from the Missouri Fire Marshal’s Office and the Lee’s Summit Fire Department the fire was determined to be accidental in nature.  The Police Department has identified the victim as 75 year old Nancy Bailey who lived at the residence.

The City of Lee’s Summit, in partnership with the Community Blood Center, is hosting a blood drive on Nov. 25 to help address a critical blood shortage in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
