Lee’s Summit Businessman Bob Glaser Named ‘Hometown Hero’

Bob Glaser, community development partner for CommunityAmerica, has been honored as a recipient of the Hometown Hero recognition – a campaign sponsored by the City of Lee’s Summit and 106.5 The WOLF to recognize community members who make a difference in the lives of others.

Glaser was nominated by Mike Maksin for his distinguished community service. A longtime resident of Lee’s Summit, Glaser has volunteered and provided leadership to numerous charitable organizations in the Kansas City area. Maksin credits Glaser with acclimating him to the business community when he moved to Lee’s Summit and says Bob has been an amazing mentor to him over the years, consistently demonstrating what it means to go above and beyond for his community.

“Bob Glaser is a true business leader and visionary in our community. You will not meet a more generous and giving individual than Bob. Bob has received numerous awards, honors and recognitions for his contributions and years of service in our community,” says Maksin.

Consider nominating a community hero and giving them the recognition they deserve now through March 16 by visiting 1065TheWolf.com and submitting a nomination. A local hero can be anyone, from a first responder to a next-door neighbor who mows a neighbor’s lawn.

A hero will be selected every Thursday by the radio station and announced on-air during the 5:30 – 9 a.m. morning show.  Morning show hosts Codie and Chris will read the winning nomination and shine a light on each hero for their part in making life better for their community. Recipients will also receive tickets to a Royals game from 106.5 The WOLF.

For more information about the Hometown Heroes recognition program, visit 1065TheWolf.com or cityofLS.net.
