LSFD Releases 2018-2023 Strategic Plan

The Lee’s Summit Fire Department is pleased to announce the release of the 2018-2023 Lee's Summit Fire Department Strategic Plan. This community –driven document is based on community and membership input designed to provide long-term direction and focus to the organization. The external and internal stakeholders’ groups did an outstanding job revisiting the Department’s foundation (Mission, Values, and Vision) and setting forth a continuous improvement plan for the future that is justifiable and sustainable.

Ward Road Set to Close for Road Improvements

A section of Southwest Ward Road will close Jan. 23, and will remain closed until June 2019, as the City of Lee’s Summit makes road improvements.
