Attorney Continuance Requests and Pleadings
The Court would request that you either email your pleading to firstname.lastname@example.org or fax your pleading to 816.969.1155; please do not file using both methods. Upon receipt, the document will be forwarded to the appropriate judge, in most cases the judge does not review filings until they are present on their court date. Once ruled on, Court staff will notify you of the judge's ruling or you can track the case via Case.Net. The Court would ask that you not contact requesting an update on your pleading or a new court date as we are busy assisting in-person court customers and as stated you will be notified as soon as practicable once the judge has ruled on your pleading.
