Jackson County Health Department

The Jackson County Health Department is providing free testing for asymptomatic and symptomatic persons. Testing will be done using either an NP swab (nasopharyngeal swab) or nasal swab and collected by a health care professional. This test only detects current infection with COVID-19. You do NOT need to be currently experiencing symptoms to get this test. However, this is NOT a test to detect if you've ever been exposed to COVID-19.

  • Do not need to be a resident
  • Clinics run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or while supplies last
  • Registration closes at 2:30 p.m. the day prior to each clinic

Department of Health & Senior Services (DHSS)

Community testing events serve the residents of Missouri. DHSS is partnering with the Missouri Community Health Centers to offer free testing for asymptomatic and symptomatic persons. The test is a PCR test done by anterior nares or mid-nasal swab and collected by a health care professional. This is not an antigen or antibody test.

  • patients who are symptomatic
