Artist Exhibit: Fusing Glass Powders & Enamels
Barb Byrne, Glass Artist
Barb Byrne began her journey into fused glass in 2009. For close to 20 years, Barb lived on a 300-acre farm in the beautiful Missouri countryside close to the Gasconade River. Her connection to animals and nature drew her into doing animal portraits and landscapes using fine glass powder. She also creates pieces using enamels on glass. Working with glass powders continues to be her passion and her main focus as she develops her body of work.
Barb is a member of Summit Art in Lee's Summit. She has pieces on display in several local galleries and has won awards for her work in several art shows.
Artist Reception July 26 from 5:30 - 7:00pm at City Hall.
Presented by the Cultural Arts Division.
