Report a Pothole

To report a pothole in a City street, notify the Public Works Department by calling (816) 969-1800 or include the street name and direction of travel in our contact us form. The pothole will be repaired within one working day (24 hours), weather permitting

SW Hook Road is Re-open to Traffic

SW Hook Road from Ward Road to Highway 291 in Lee’s Summit, Mo., opened to traffic on Monday, Oct. 20, after being closed for four months to complete road reconstruction and improvements.

Highway 50 & Route 291 South Interchange Improvements Moving Ahead

The City of Lee’s Summit in partnership with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) announced today, Oct. 20, the Highway 50 and Route 291 South interchange improvements are proceeding.

MoDOT Traffic Advisory: Eastbound Woods Chapel Road Over I-470 to Close Monday, October 20

Eastbound Woods Chapel Road over I-470 will close for about 30 days beginning 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 20, for bridge rehabilitation. Westbound Woods Chapel Road over I-470 and all ramps to and from I-470 at Woods Chapel Road will remain open. Eastbound traffic will detour to Strother Road interchange at I-470 to the south or to Bowlin Road interchange at I-470 to the north.

 

Pryor Road: Longview to Hook roads is Re-open to Traffic

Pryor Road, from Longview to Hook roads, is now open to through traffic in both north and south directions as of Tuesday, Sept. 30. Seeding and pavement markings will be completed next week, weather permitting. Drivers are encouraged to use caution in this area as periodic construction work will occur along the shoulders.
