The Lee's Summit Police Department offers great pay and benefits, as well as equipment and training that prepare you to perform as a professional police officer for the City of Lee's Summit. The current salary for beginning police officers is $36,958.88. The City offers a college incentive reimbursement program, clothing allowance for plain clothes assignments, uniform dry cleaning, overtime pay, vacation pay; sick and short-term disability leave, health and dental insurance plan, pension plan and a voluntary deferred compensation plan.
