Pet Licensing 

Animal Control Home - Schedule of Fees - Licensing Regulations

Pet Licensing Info - You can license your pet online for 2010, at City Hall, or at Animal Control.  Animal Control is located at 1991 SE Hamblen Road.  City Hall is located at 220 SE Green Street.   You will need a valid rabies certificate, and proof of your pet's sterilization (if applicable).  You may also elect to purchase a lifetime license provided your pet is micro-chipped. Life-time licenses are only available at the Animal Shelter or City Hall.  The Animal Control Facility is open for licensing on Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is also open on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  City Hall is open for licensing from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Refund Policy - All pet licenses are final, and no refunds will be given.  Additionally, pet licenses are issued for a calendar year regardless of when obtained (no pro-rating). 

Delivery Method - Licenses purchased or renewed online will be mailed via the United States Postal Service, toward the end of each business week.
