Peddler - Solicitor Permit

To solicit in the City of Lee's Summit you are required by law to have an solicitor ID card.  To obtain a solicitor ID card, please fill out the Peddler/Solicitor Application Form and return it to the police records unit.  You will also be required to show a photo id.  Your application form will be reviewed and signed by the Chief of Police.  Processing time is approximately 1-2 weeks and the cost is $20.  Permits are valid for 180 days.  For more information you may contact the Records unit by calling 816-969-1715.
