Gamber Center Rules and Etiquette

General Rules

Demonstrate respect for yourself, other patrons, staff, and property while enjoying the facility.
No abusive or profane language.
No rough-housing or horseplay.
No smoking indoors (for designated outdoor smoking areas, inquire at welcome desk)
Attire should be community center appropriate.
Anyone under 21 must be accompanied at all times by a member 21 or older.
Food is allowed in all areas of the Gamber Center excluding the Grand Tetons, Yosemite and Rushmore areas or at the discretion of the instructor in other areas.
Drinks are allowed in all areas of the Gamber Center except for Yosemite.
Only water in a sealable container is allowed in the Grand Tetons and Rushmore rooms.
NO GUM is allowed in the Gamber Center

Fitness Center Rules

Children under 10 must be accompanied by a person 16 years of age or older while in the fitness center. The cardio and strength training area has been developed for ages 12 and up. Children 10 and 11 may use cardio equipment if accompanied by a person 16+. Those 12-17 can use all of the equipment without supervision after having an orientation by facility staff.
Proper workout attire must be worn. Closed-toe shoes and a shirt must be worn at all times. Blue jeans, belts and clothing with metal-rivets are not permitted.
Lockers will be used for personal items that can not be hung on hooks.
Lockers are located at the north end of the building near the restrooms.
Lockers are for day use only. You must provide your own lock. All locks left over night will be cut off the following day.
Return weights to proper location on rack.
Return all balls, bands, steps, and yoga mats to proper location.
Thirty minute time limit on all cardiovascular equipment during peak hours.
Please be courteous to other users, disinfectant and towels are available at designated locations.
All professional services must be provided by authorized Gamber Center staff or contractors.

24 Hour Cancellation Policy

A 24 hour notice of cancellation or change in contracted services like massage therapy and personal training is required. If an appointment is canceled or changed within less than 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, a refund will NOT be processed. In the event of a cancellation by the contractor prior to the 24 hour notice, the appointment may be rescheduled or refunded. In the event of a cancellation by the contractor less than 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, you may reschedule your appointment and will receive an additional 15 minutes of service at no charge.
