Environmental Records Request

All environmental records requests, including those for Phase I ESA's, should be directed to the Lee's Summit Fire Department via their Contact Us page.

Trash that litters the ground is a serious issue.  Litter is not only collected by stormwater and transported to nearby lakes and streams, it frequently contains toxic materials that can pollute lakes and streams.  The City's Stream Team Program is a volunteer effort that involves collecting litter and debris from local streams.  The City typically organizes one large Stream Team event per year, with the next event scheduled for:

Location: Deer Valley Park, 1400NE Neawanna Drive

Lunch will be provided. Student and Boy/Girl Scout community service hours will be available. Court-ordered community service will not be offered at these events.

Trash bags and gloves are provided for volunteers and prizes are awarded for the most unique items collected!
