Trash that litters the ground is a serious issue. Litter is not only collected by stormwater and transported to nearby lakes and streams, it frequently contains toxic materials that can pollute lakes and streams. The City's Stream Team Program is a volunteer effort that involves collecting litter and debris from local streams. The City typically organizes one large Stream Team event per year.
Date: October 15, 2016
Time: 10am - Noon
Location: McKee Park, 501 NE Todd George Parkway
Lunch will be provided at the large City event. Student and Boy/Girl Scout community service hours will be available; however, Court-ordered community service will not be offered at these events.
