Participating Communities

The City's Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) facility is located within the City's Resource Recovery Park,
2101 SE Hamblen Road.  See map.






With an appointment, residents and members of participating communities can properly dispose of up to
100 pounds of their unwanted RESIDENTIAL HHW per household per appointment per day at no charge.

Residents of non-participating communities will be charged $50 (exact cash or check ONLY) per appointment (one appointment allowed per day) to drop-off up to 100 pounds of HHW.
Proof of residency (driver's license or utility bill) will be required at the time of the appointment.

Communities in gray are those that have not committed to the 2015 program to date.


* Communities within the following unincorporated counties with populations less than 500 may utilize the HHW facility at no charge.
Unincorporated Clay County: Mosby, Missouri City, Prathersville, Randolph, Birmingham, Holt, Oakview, Oakwood, Oakwood Park, Oaks
Unincorporated Jackson County: Levasy, Unity Village, Sibley, River Bend
Unincorporated Platte County: Tracy, Platte Woods, Farley, Northmoor, Houston Lake, Iatan, Ridgely, Camden Point, Dearborn, Ferrelview
