30-Day Public Review and Comment: Draft 2015-2019 Consolidated Plan/2015-2016 Annual Action Plan/Citizen Participation Plan

Lee's Summit is an entitlement community of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). As required by HUD, the City is now providing a 30-day public comment period from March 6 through April 6, 2015 to allow the public an opportunity to review the draft 2015-2019 Consolidated Plan, the draft 2015-2016 Action Plan and the draft Citizen Participation Plan and provide comments to the City. We Have Incentives!

The City adopted an Economic Development Incentive Policy supporting the Economic Development Vision as outlined by the City Council.  This policy includes information on the type and availability of incentive programs as well as targeted economic development outcomes and geographic areas.

2012 International Code Adoption

On October 7, 2013 the Lee’s Summit City Council adopted new building code regulations and a new fire code.
