Multi-Family Housing Assessment Results Available Now!

The City of Lee’s Summit contracted with Vogt Strategic Insights (VSI) to conduct a housing study to evaluate the future market demand for new rental multi-family housing developments within the City of Lee’s Summit, MO.  Market-rate rental units were the primary focus of the study, but demand for age-restricted and affordable housing units were examined as well with reviews of age-restricted and affordable housing units being a secondary focus. 

EnVision LS Master Development Plan and Design Standards

On November 3, 2016, the City Council adopted a Master Development Plan, known as EnVision LS, for an area generally bounded by Pine Tree Plaza on the north, Adesa and adjacent properties fronting South M-291 Highway on the west, on the south by 16th Street east of South M-291 and Union Pacific Railroad on the east. Economic Incentives

The City adopted an Economic Development Incentive Policy supporting the Economic Development Vision as outlined by the City Council.  This policy includes information on the type and availability of incentive programs as well as targeted economic development outcomes and geographic areas.
