Water Tap and Meter Setup Fee

Water tap and meter setup fees are regulated by the City of Lee’s Summit Water Department and collected by Codes Administration. These fees are applicable to all domestic and irrigations services and tap fees are not applicable to unmetered connections such as fire lines. Water meter and tap fees are located under Water Utilities section of the Schedule of Fees.

Sewer Connection Fee

Sewer connection fees are regulated by the City of Lee’s Summit Water Department and collected by Codes Administration. A sewer connection fee is applicable for any project where trapped plumbing fixtures are being added as part of a new structure or added to an existing structure, up to a maximum of 100 fixtures per building. Sewer connection fees are located under the Water Utilities section of the Schedule of Fees.

Sewer Improvement Fee

Sewer improvement fees are regulated by the City of Lee’s Summit Water Utilities Department and collected by Codes Administration. Like sewer connection fees, sewer improvement fees are based on trapped plumbing fixtures. Unlike sewer connection fees, sewer improvement fees are only applicable to certain areas of the City and there is not a cap on the maximum number of fixtures that can be collected on within a structure. Sewer improvement fees are located under the Water Utilities section of the Schedule of Fees.
