Community Development Block Grant Highlights

2016-17 CDBG Action Plan Draft for Public Review

As required by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Lee's Summit Citizen Participation Plan, the City is providing an opportunity to the general public to review and submit comments until April 29, 2016 on the draft version of the 2016-17 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Action Plan and the staff recommended funding allocations prior to City Council approval. The CDBG program provides federal funding to support eligible programs and projects sponsored by eligible public agencies or not-for-profit organizations.

Minor Home Repair and First Time Homebuyer Programs

We Have Incentives!

The City adopted an Economic Development Incentive Policy supporting the Economic Development Vision as outlined by the City Council.  This policy includes information on the type and availability of incentive programs as well as targeted economic development outcomes and geographic areas.
