On Monday, 5/23/2011  members of the Lee’s Summit Missouri Police Department participated in the 26th annual Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Special Olympics.  The run is held each year to kick off fund raising efforts for Special Olympics.  The Police Department members finished their run at Prairie View Elementary School on Todd George Road where they had lunch with the Olympiads who gathered there to meet them.
