City Staff will Talk to Youth about Public Service Careers at Bartle Hall Event Sept. 29

The City of Lee’s Summit is one of the municipalities exhibiting at the CORE4 Youth Career Expo on Tuesday, Sept. 29, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bartle Hall in Kansas City. Fun, interactive exhibits will introduce middle and high school students to public service careers projected to be in high demand during the next five to 10 years.

Look What’s Returning to City Hall on Sept. 28

Soon the Community Blood Center bus will be parked in front of City Hall for the next Blood Drive on Monday, Sept. 28 from 1 – 4 p.m. Sign-up today! Facility Closings in Observance of Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 7

Lee’s Summit City Hall, 220 SE Green St., and the Lee’s Summit Municipal Court, 10 NE Tudor, will be closed on Mon., Sept. 7, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. The following City facilities will be either closed or have reduced hours of operation as a result of Monday’s holiday:

The community is invited to hear an inspiring message about the City’s accomplishments and steps toward future progress during the annual State of the City address presented by Lee’s Summit Mayor Randall Rhoads at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, in the Council Chambers of Lee’s Summit City Hall, 220 SE Green Street, Lee’s Summit.
