Beginning on October 2, City Council meetings will be held on Tuesday evenings instead of Thursdays. All meetings will begin at 6 p.m.

The City of Lee’s Summit invites business owners, contractors, developers and builders to answer questions about their experiences doing business with the City via a Business/Development survey available at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/YT7THGG. The survey is available until Oct. 9, 2013.

Fall Art Summit - Wed. Oct. 2

You are invited to the Fall Art Summit on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Emaline Ballroom, 616 SW 3rd Street. Art Summit will be held 6:30-8 p.m. featuring guest speaker Robin Blakely. RSVP by Sept 29.

Mayor Randy Rhoads Presents Annual State of the City Address on September 12

The community is invited to hear a message about City accomplishments and plans for the future during the annual State of the City address presented by Mayor Randy Rhoads at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, in the Council Chambers of Lee’s Summit City Hall, 220 SE Green Street, Lee’s Summit.

 

Feedback Requested for Existing and Proposed Exhibits at the Lee's Summit History Museum

The public is invited to attend a meeting on Saturday, September 7, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at First Presbyterian Church, 1625 NW O’Brien Road, Lee’s Summit. During the meeting, the public will hear the latest news on proposed exhibits and themes being considered as part of a move into the WPA Post Office / Old City Hall facility, located at 220 SW Main Street. This is a community, historical museum and we are seeking ideas and input regarding existing and proposed museum exhibits (interpretive, programmatic and thematic elements).
