Keep Cool When It's Hot

Admission fees into Legacy Park, Gamber and Harris Park Community Centers will be reduced to half price on all days the National Weather Service issues Excessive Heat Warnings for the months June, July and August. During business hours, Mid-Continent Libraries are also good cooling centers. Call United Way 2-1-1 for assistance or information about public cooling centers.

Your Opportunity for a “A Moment with the Mayor”

Lee’s Summit Mayor Randy Rhoads has a new program for residents and business owners to meet him and to chat about the City. “A Moment with the Mayor” is the new program debuting on Saturday, September 17, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Legacy Park Community Center, 901 NE Bluestem Drive, Lee’s Summit.

City Participates in Back to School Sales Tax Holiday Aug. 5 - 7

This weekend is a good time to shop for back to school items in the community. That’s because the City of Lee’s Summit is participating in the Back to School Sales Tax Holiday from Friday, August 5 to Sunday, August 7.
