Keep Cool When It's Hot

Admission fees into Legacy Park, Gamber and Harris Park Community Centers will be reduced to half price on all days the National Weather Service issues Excessive Heat Warnings for the months June, July and August. During business hours, Mid-Continent Libraries are also good cooling centers. Call United Way 2-1-1 for assistance or information about public cooling centers.

2013 Water Quality Report now available online

 Lee’s Summit Water Utilities takes pride in the high quality drinking water it delivers to homes and businesses in Lee’s Summit. This year, Lee’s Summit Water Utilities has once again met the federal safe drinking water standards set by the Safe Drinking Water Act of 1996.

As a reminder fireworks can be discharged July 2-3 between 10 am to 11 p.m. and July 4. 10 a.m. to midnight.  Residents choosing to discharge fireworks during the approved dates and times are required to have a permit.
