Date/Time Change for City Council Meetings

Beginning on October 2, City Council meetings will be held on Tuesday evenings instead of Thursdays. All meetings will begin at 6 p.m.

Big Trucks and Big Fun Promised At 2017 Equipment Show

Join us for big trucks and big fun Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the annual Big Truck and Equipment Show as kids young and old have the opportunity to climb into the driver’s seat of some of the City’s biggest pieces of equipment.

Groundbreaking for Route 291 South and US 50 Highway Interchange Project is May 3

The City of Lee’s Summit and the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) are hosting a groundbreaking event to kick off construction of the Route 291 and U.S. 50 Interchange. The ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, at Harris Park in Lee’s Summit, Mo. Attendees are encouraged to park at Harris Park Community Center and follow the trail to the event.

RecycleFEST is April 29!

During this event residents can bring various unusual items to recycle at the event for FREE.   

Can't Flush This! Water Utilities partners with LS CARES, LSPD to promote Drug Take-Back Day

Taking care of our water and wastewater system is of the utmost importance for Lee’s Summit Water Utilities. That’s why we wanted to help Lee’s Summit Cares and Lee’s Summit Police Department promote the annual Drug Take-Back Day, Saturday April 29, 2017.
