Date/Time Change for City Council Meetings

Beginning on October 2, City Council meetings will be held on Tuesday evenings instead of Thursdays. All meetings will begin at 6 p.m.

Local artist Rick Stone's artwork is on display in the lobby of City Hall.  His fascination with design is evident through his many art pieces, shown in an array of shows, including Longview Farms, the Power & Light District and Westport shows, and many more.  

Curb Repair Programs information on City’s Web site

The City's Public Works Department has a newly created Web page dedicated to the Curb Repair Programs in an effort to keep residents informed about repair projects and to promote two-way communications. The Web page is located at cityofls.net on the Transportation Page under Street Programs and Maintenance

Census Data Presentation: Noon April 27 in Lee’s Summit City Hall

The U.S. Census Bureau will present an overview of the 2010 Census and the American Community Survey data – what it is and how to access the data using the bureau’s Web site, American Factfinder.

City Council Redistricting Committee Begins Task and Seeks Resident Input

The City of Lee’s Summit asks residents to participate in a planning meeting to discuss the redistricting of Lee’s Summit’s City Council District boundaries.  The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers (220 SE Green St.) on Wednesday, April 27, 2011.
