Keep Cool When It's Hot

Admission fees into Legacy Park, Gamber and Harris Park Community Centers will be reduced to half price on all days the National Weather Service issues Excessive Heat Warnings for the months June, July and August. Crews Clearing Snow from Intersections, Turn Lanes and Light Signals

With the plowing and treating of residential streets completed at approximately 2 a.m. today (Feb. 28), the City of Lee’s Summit’s snow removal crews are clearing snow from intersections and turn lanes to improve sight distance. Crews are also clearing snow from the lenses of traffic signals throughout the City.

With the significant melting of snow during the day and temperatures dropping below freezing overnight, pavements will refreeze. Residents should remain cautious when driving on roadways and walking on sidewalks,
