Beginning on October 2, City Council meetings will be held on Tuesday evenings instead of Thursdays. All meetings will begin at 6 p.m.

It's that time of year when Jackson County Personal Property and/or Real Estate tax bills arrive.  We try to make things easier for you by accepting payments locally at Lee's Summit City Hall where you can make changes and receive your receipt immediately.

City’s Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration: “One Voice for Freedom”

City Facility Closings and Reduced Hours for Upcoming Holidays

Lee’s Summit City Hall & Lee’s Summit Municipal Court will be closed Fri., Dec. 23 & Mon., Dec. 26, 2016 and on Mon., Jan. 2, 2017 in observance of the holidays. Lee’s Summit Parks & Recreation holiday hours:

CDBG Application Forms Available Online Beginning Jan. 13 for Program Year 2017-2018

The City will soon begin accepting applications for the 2017-18 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program funding to support eligible programs and projects sponsored by eligible public agencies or not-for-profit organizations. Individuals are not eligible to apply. The application forms will be available online on Jan. 13, 2017. Completed applications will be accepted by the City from Jan. 16 through Feb. 17, 2017 and funds will become available after July 1, 2017.

Cities & Community Cut Ribbons in Celebration of Major Transportation Milestones

The completion of Lee’s Summit Road and the purchase of Hangar 1 were touted as potential economic development generators during today’s, Dec. 16, ribbon-cutting event to officially usher in these community transportation milestones.
