Relocation of Ambulance Benefits Entire City

The Lee’s Summit Fire Department appreciates discussion about emergency services within the community. We have a great deal of personal and professional pride in the level of service we provide to our citizens. However, we wish to clear up misconceptions about a recent recommendation to relocate an ambulance from Station 6 to neighboring Station 2. The most important message we want to convey is there will be no reduction of ambulance service to the area around Station 6, or Council District 4.

Jackson County Tax Payments accepted at Lee’s Summit City Hall

If you're ready to pay your Jackson County Personal Property and/or Real Estate tax bills, come by City Hall at 220 SE Green St. to make your payment!  The City benefits by receiving 1% of tax dollars collected for acting as an agent for Jackson County.  Taxpayers benefit by receiving their tax receipt immediately upon payment.

City Facility Hours for Upcoming Holiday

Lee’s Summit City Hall & Lee’s Summit Municipal Court will be closed on Fri., Jan. 1, 2016 in observance of New Years Day holiday. However, City Hall is offering extended hours for tax payments Dec. 28-31 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
