Public Communications Coordinator

Hiring range is DOQ plus an excellent benefit package.



This position is responsible for managing external and internal communications, coordinating public and media relations, and enhancing communication for the City through participation in citizen and employee groups.  




Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in journalism, communications, public relations or a related field required. Minimum three years’ experience in public relations or  communications required. Local government experience preferred. Master’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, business or a related field preferred. Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
