Secretary Part-Time - Police Department

Minimum starting salary is $13.59 hourly with partial leave benefits.    


Scheduled hours for the position will be flexible, 5 hours per day between 8am-5pm, Monday – Friday (25 hours per week paid).  Duties include performing both routine and complex clerical, secretarial, and administrative support services for administrative managers and preparing and maintaining reports, records, and files.  Duties will also include handling correspondence of both a routine and non-routine administrative nature as well as handling confidential information.      



Minimum requirements include high school diploma or G.E.D., and two years of office/clerical experience with considerable knowledge of computer use, including spreadsheets, databases, and the ability to work proficiently with Microsoft Word and Excel.  Successful applicant must possess excellent communication and customer service skills.  All applicants will be subject to the successful completion of an extensive background investigation, polygraph exam, and psychological evaluation if selected to fill the position.
