Salary
Starting salary for non-certified applicants is $37,144 annually plus a full benefit package. Starting salary range for applicants with class A certification, previous or current employment with a law enforcement agency, and additional training and skills is $39,000-$40,858 annually DOQ. Future increases are available under a career ladder and merit pay program.
Requirements
Minimum requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, U.S. citizenship; possession of valid operator’s license; minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age or will be 21 years of age prior to successful completion of a Missouri Police Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) approved law enforcement training academy; good physical condition with height and weight in proportion; 20/20 vision in both eyes with or without correction; and no past criminal record.
