Public Guide - Business Guide - Clean Indoor Air Act SUMMARY 
The Clean Indoor Air Act is intended to improve and protect the public's health by eliminating smoking in all enclosed public places within the City of Lee's Summit with few exceptions.
The Clean Indoor Air Act requires every public place and place of employment where smoking is prohibited to conspicuously post at every entrance No Smoking signs or the international No Smoking symbol. The City of Lee's Summit has these signs available for businesses and places of employment free of charge. Should you wish to obtain signs from the City of Lee's Summit, please call 816-969-1200 or visit the Codes Administration department located at City Hall. Should businesses or places of employment wish to purchase the required signage other than those provided by the City, they may be free to do so.
