TDD Forms:
House Bill 191 amended section 238.235, RSMo. to require the Department of Revenue to begin collecting sales taxes imposed by transportation development districts (TDD). The Department will first begin collecting a transportation development district’s tax for tax periods beginning January 1, 2010. New Longview TDD will begin filing their sales tax returns with the DOR for the tax period beginning April 1, 2010.
*Note: There have been four Community Improvement Districts (CID) established within a portion of the City of Lee's Summit. These districts have levied an additional sales tax to pay for the cost community improvements.
