Drop box located in the alley behind City Hall

Jackson County personal property, business and real estate tax bills can be paid at Treasury located in the lobby of City Hall. The City benefits by receiving 1% of the tax dollars collected for acting as an agent for Jackson County. Taxpayers benefit by receiving tax receipts immediately upon payment.

Payment Types

Payments received at Treasury can be in the form of cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express. A non-refundable 2.25% service fee is charged if using a credit or debit card. There is no fee for cash or check. Checks should be made payable to Jackson County Collector.

Drop Boxes - No contact. No Lines. Available 24/7.

Place an envelope containing the full tax bill and check payment (no cash) in one of the convenient drop boxes located outside the north entrance of City Hall or in the drive-thru drop box in the alley behind City Hall near the Fire Station. Tax receipts for payments received via the drop boxes will be mailed to payees within four days. To receive a receipt via email within two days, print the email address clearly on the bill or envelope.

Statement Corrections

Treasury does not make statement corrections. To correct a statement visit a Jackson County location.

Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
(closed December 25 and 26)

Extended Business Hours:
December 27 - 29, 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
