| Health Education Advisory Board |
The Mayor-appointed board assesses health issues in the community, educates the public and appropriate government agencies about identified needs, develops plans to address health issues, and evaluates the effectiveness of said efforts. |
| Human Relations Commission |
The Human Relations Commission works to ensure that all persons shall be treated fairly without discrimination or prejudice and with dignity based on their individual abilities, qualifications and qualities. They encourage the cooperation of all community groups and work with civil rights organizations, community organizations, law enforcement agencies, school districts and other community education institutions to foster better human relations and collect and review data relating to patterns of discrimination, hate crimes, hate group activity and general issues of civil and human rights and community relations. |
