Due to an influx of traffic onto roads less-traveled during rush hours, be prepared for major delays and the potential for motor vehicle crashes due to large volumes of traffic. The Lee's Summit Police Department (LSPD) expects traffic back-ups within its City Limits, including areas such as the I-470 / 50 Highway interchange, Colbern and Douglas Roads, and M-150 Highway at West City Limits. LSPD has scheduled additional Traffic Officers to work during Monday morning rush hour in an attempt to help curb problem areas and keep traffic moving.
